You will be successful above all if you have thought your business through and planned it carefully. A good business idea and its implementation are the prerequisites for any successful business. Extensive and individual counselling and information before setting up the business is essential. Counselling eliminates information deficits which could result in serious problems in the implementation phase. The Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Industrie- und Handelskammern) and also the Chambers of Crafts and Trades (Handwerkskammern) in Baden-Württemberg are at your disposal with a wide range of information during the planning phase.
Tip: State and private sources offer partly free services. Get an overview of these services in good time. You can find points of contact (Anlaufstellen) for business start-up projects in Baden-Württemberg in the Business Start-up Portal of the Finanz- und Wirtschaftsministerium Baden-Württemberg. The Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) provides extensive information on its Business Start-up Portal (Portal für Existenzgründer). In additional to numerous modules for business start-ups, it also provides a strategy planner. It will help you to develop the proper strategy for your company. In addition, you will receive a free-of-charge software package for business start-ups and young companies.
